Congratulations to the Homecoming King Gavin Price. Price was named homecoming king Feb. 11, Price stated that “It’s really not that different from being a regular student, the only thing that has changed is that people have noticed me outside of school because they have seen posts about me.” Price got the idea for his pep rally outfit from Aiden Hitesman stating that “He told me in class that he wanted to dress like I did in the pep rally but he didn't have the clothes so he told me to wear it. I think that outfit really put my name out there when students went to vote.”
Being the student council president, being a student, and working, Price commented that "Sometimes it does get stressful but I just put my faith in God and he's got me. Most of the time I just have to rely on him and friends to help me get through it.” Price spoke of how he plans on going to ETSU unless Tusculum is going to offer to play football. He plans on going majoring in Dental Hygiene. Price noted that his favorite memory at West was in the East vs. West football games and that it was a “Surreal feeling.”
