Each year, a group of students from Morristown-West High earns the opportunity to compete in the Tennessee Math Teachers Association Mathematics Contest. This past spring one of those students, Tennessee Darby, participated in the Statistics Test, and finished second among all the students in the state. Darby’s achievement was honored at a banquet in September at the organization's annual meeting at The University of Tennessee at Martin. Each State-Level winner was awarded two plaques: one to keep and one to be displayed at the student's school. Congratulations to Darby on this outstanding achievement!!! Ralph Nobel commented “I am very proud of him”.
