FBLA, DECA Celebrates Regional Winners

Both FBLA and DECA have participated in the annual Regional Competition. Following this, both clubs celebrated regional winners Monday, Feb. 28.

Nicolette Abate, Kaila Evans, Andrew Goodman, Malachi Young, Brie Blevins, Nicole Butler, Tania Roque, Isabella Swanson, and Lauren Gray receive FBLA and DECA awards from Amy Whaley and Jacqueline Cutshaw. Kimberly Cook also sponsors FBLA and DECA

In the FBLA Regional Competition, Nicolette Abate placed second in Business Calculations, Kaila Evans placed third in Introduction to Business Communication, Nicole Butler placed third in Personal Finance, Abigail Madison placed fourth in Human Resource Management, Isabella Swanson and Lauren Gray placed fourth in Hospitality & Event Management, Andrew Goodman placed fifth in Cyber Security, Tania Roque placed fifth in Advertising, and Hallie Lane placed ninth in Business Communication.

In the DECA Regional Competition, Brie Blevins placed third in Retail Merchandising Series, Aarya Patel placed sixth in Hotel and Lodging Management Series, and Kevin Campbell placed ninth in Sports and Entertainment Marketing Series.
