Fellowship of Christian Athletes

On every Tuesday at 7:30, student athletes meet up in the library with FCA Lakeway Area Director, Marty Blakely, and West High Cheer Coach, Leslie Jones. FCA is offered in many schools such as Morristown East, Jefferson County, Grainger County, Lakeway Christian, and surrounding schools. Students and some teachers gather and start off by playing games, eating donuts, hear a lecture from the Bible, and end it with a prayer.

Student Keely Needs, states, “I love that FCA feels like a family and that we not only have fun, but we all grow closer to God together! FCA has influenced me to become a better Christ-like leader. FCA has made me want to be a positive light outside of school, but also in school, which can be hard at times.”

Recently, they have been having students from school give lectures or testimonies. This is an amazing way to get to know more students, gain friendships, and grow your faith with God.
