Getting to Know Student’s Favorite Movie Genres

Student’s at West High school were handed a poll and asked to choose their favorite movie genres. They were given a list of 13 options such as Action, Crime, Drama, Fantasy, Horror, Comedy, Romance, Science Fiction, Sports, Thriller, Mystery, War, and Western. Or you could fill out and add your own option.

The data was collected and it shows that the most popular genre of movies students like to watch is horror. The second most popular genre is action, and the third most popular genre is comedy. The movie genre to come in last place was western.

Some students also shared what they’re favorite movies were such as Halloween, Forrest Gump, The Conjuring, Fast & Furious, IT, Grown Ups, Saw 2, The Nightmare Before Christmas, The Joker, and Jurassic Park.
