Hamblen County brings to their middle schools and high schools a college career website called Major Clarity. The website is supported by colleges to help the students find a job that would best fit their working skills.
When a student logs into Major Clarity, he or she will be given an assessment that will grade their percentages of social, conventional, investigative, realistic, artistic and enterprising skills. Jobs are then chosen for the student based on the skills he or she did best on.
Students can also click on a career they would be interested in. When they decide, many videos appear about the career they choose. Also, major clarity provides abilities used, knowledge used, related careers, and average salaries.
