Henry, Tran, Couch, Fitzgerald Qualify for State Cross Country Competition

West Students and state qualifiers, Zach Henry, Kyra Couch, Andee Fitzgerald, and Katie Tran

Oct 24, West High’s cross country had four runners qualify to compete at the state level after the competition at Daniel Boone High’s cross country course. Zach Henry, Katie Tran, Kyra Couch and Andee Fitzgerald were the runners from West that qualified for state.

With this victory, Bowen was once again awarded the title “All Conference Coach of the Year.” Bowen feels an inexplicable pride for all of her runners, saying, “I’m very fortunate to be able to

coach the greatest group of kids in this building.”
