HOSA represents West High at State Leadership Conference

March 31 through April 2, Morristown West High School HOSA members competed in the State Leadership Conference in Chattanooga. Students competed at the ​Chattanooga Convention Center March 31 and April 1 for second round competitions. On April 1, SLC also held an opening session which included speeches from guest speakers and recognition awards. Sherry Skeen received a state officer adviser recognition award and Chloe Yang received a certificate of acknowledgement for placing top in 10 Human Heredity. April 1, SLC also held a fun night event at the Convention Center where they played music with food and drinks. There was an award session held April 2 and Joshua Brown was awarded 3rd place in his Epidemiology competition. In the free time of the three days, West High HOSA explored places to eat and things to do in downtown Chattanooga such as the Tennessee Aquarium.
