Morristown West High Places 32 In Tennessee According to US News and World Report

West High has once again ranked among Tennessee’s top schools according to US News and World Report. Morristown Hamblen High-School West placed 2482 in the country, 32 in the state, and 1 in the district. West has an 86.1 on the scorecard, 43% of students have taken at least one AP Exam, 28% passed at least one AP Exam, 31% are Proficient in Mathematics, 46% are Proficient in Reading, and 95% Graduation Rate.

Mr. Kinsler stated, "For the 13 consecutive years, West High has been recognized by US News and World Report as one of America’s top High Schools. We were awarded the rank

of 32 within the state of Tennessee for 2020, with predominantly magnet schools

ranking ahead of us. This is an award that ALL of us should be proud of and is

worthy of celebration. Congratulations to students and staff!!!"
