The Morristown Speech and Debate Team competed at the LaRue Ruth Blair Invitational tournament Nov. 6. This tournament was hosted by LaRue County High School in Hodgenville, Kentucky. This competition was held completely asynchronously. In total, the team had 14 competitors placed in the final rounds of 8 events.
Rylee Linkous placed 1st in Duo Interpretation with her partner, Cayden Keltgen. She also placed 4th in POI.
Keltgen placed 1st in Duo Interpretation with his partner, Linkous. He also placed 1st in Storytelling
Faith Hodge placed 2nd in Duo Interpretation with her partner, Emma Whittaker. She also placed 2nd in Impromptu and 4th in IDA with her partner, Delaney Miksa.
Whittaker placed 2nd in Duo Interpretation with her partner, Hodge. She also placed 5th in Impromptu and 5th in Informative Speaking.
Strumski placed 2nd in Original Oratory. She also placed 6th in IDA with her partner, Lorna Baxley.
Miksa placed 3rd in Original Oratory and Program Oral Interpretation. She also placed 4th in IDA with her partner, Hodge.
Abigail Snider placed 5th in Duo Interpretation with her partner, Ella Hardin.
Hardin placed 5th in Duo Interpretation with her partner, Snider.
Maya Hill placed 5th in Poetry.
Baxley placed 6th in IDA with her partner, Strumski.
Isabella Picardi placed 6th in Informative Speaking.
Aarya Patel placed 6th in Original Oratory.
Ruby Cunningham placed 7th in Duo Interpretation with her partner, Radiance Starr.
Starr placed 7th in Duo Interpretation with her partner, Cunningham.
