Tyler Brooks is the latest addition to the West High family. He is excited to begin work here, stating, “I hope to make a positive impact in the kids’ lives around me and help them grow”. He was originally a teacher in Maryville, TN, and his favorite part of school as he grew up was a mix of Social Studies and his Weight Training class. Brooks also stated his love for Pal's, expressing that it is a "must try" for people new to the area.
The reason that Brooks picked the subject of Physical Education was because in his words, “I love strength and conditioning. I love working with high school athletes. I believe I can make a more impactful relationship with high schoolers”. In his spare time, Brooks enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, reading, and attending sporting events. When asked, Brooks’ biggest piece of advice to high school students was “What matters now won’t matter five years from now.”
