West High is heartbroken over the events of the past several days that have resulted in immense Devastation. Hurricane Helene caused so much damage to neighborhoods, and homes in surrounding East TN counties. Coach Alvin Sanders and his team wanted to hold a drive to collect bottled water and cleaning and hand wipes for Cocke County. Our Beta Club members were eager to join in as well.
So for the next week (or more) all of West High will be collecting these items to deliver to Cocke County High School, a distribution center for the county. We are encouraging community members who would like to donate to drop items at the main office during normal school hours.
