Morristown West Wrestling team competed in TSSAA Section One Tournament this past weekend. At this tournament, six of West's Wrestlers placed to compete at the state level. The following students that placed were Keagan Purkey 3rd place, Ian Carr 2nd place, Tavion Rudolph 2nd place, Giovanni Bautista 1st place, Luke Rodriguez 2nd place, and Brodey Huskey 2nd place.
The team placed 4th overall out of 18 schools. The wrestlers will leave this Thursday to travel to Franklin, TN for the state tournament. Photos are courtesy of Mrs. Jennifer Young.
