Vibbart Travels from Michigan to Teach West High Students

Welcome Julie Vibbart  to the Trojan Nation staff! She was ready to do something different stating , “After teaching math at Morristown East for 11 years, I was ready to try something different, so I came to the other side of town to teach ESL!”  Vibbart is from a small town in Michigan just north of Ann Arbor. Vibbart has multiple degrees at different universities such as a Mathematics Education from (EMU), Master’s degree in Learning and Technology from (WGU),and an educational specialist degree in Instructional Leadership from (LMU). Her favorite part of school was participating in  sports such as basketball and track. Some of her favorite hobbies are walking or hiking with her dog, traveling, and reading! Vibbart has a rescued dog named Ziva.

She says that her nieces and nephews are the ones that inspire her. Vibbart explains, “my parents and my two brothers, along with their wives and kids, all still live in Michigan.” Her favorite place to travel is back to her home in Michigan.  She tries to visit as often as possible. Vibbart’s favorite advice for high 

school students is a quote from “The office” that goes, “"You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. - Wayne Gretzky” - Michael Scott.””
