West High School has had another successful blood drive. Every semester, West High
School hosts a blood drive to help collect blood for those in need. Blood drives give a chance to show the giving spirit of the Trojan Nation. The turn out for the blood drive was great. There were a total of 78 people who donated blood for those in need! Those who donated received a ticket to Soaky Mountain Waterpark!
Mrs. Sherrie Adkins, who is a health science teacher at West High School stated, “ Every single unit of blood donated can save up to three lives. The goal is to inspire lifelong donors to provide our healthcare facilities with life giving blood donations.”
Thank you to everyone that took time out of their day to donate blood and help those in need.
