In the West High school auditorium on Tuesday, Feb. 13 parents, students, and passerby gather to watch the West High School Choir perform their annual Valentine’s concert. Group’s, trio’s, and duo’s all from Treble and Advanced choir performed. In the words of choir director Kaitlyn Younger, “All of our songs tonight are about love.” The setlist of the night truly was all about love. With songs such as, “All of Me,” “ Can’t Help Falling in Love,” and “My Girl” performed. However, many songs surrounding the pain of love also made their way onto the stage like: “When I Was Your Man,” “Just Give Me a Reason,” and “The Night We Met.” Voluntary donations were taken at the door. Overall, the West High choir Valentine’s eve concert was a labor of love with countless students coming together to make a show members of the audience will remember for years to come.
