The 2022 FBLA State Convention took place between April 4-6 in Chattanooga TN. Lauren Gray, Isabella Swanson, Tania Roque Castro, and Kaila Evans attended the convention.
Monday, the opening session was scheduled to start at 12:00 p.m. and the competitive performance competitions at 2:00 p.m. as well as cluster training. Gray and Swanson competed at 3:15 p.m. in hospitality and management. Roque Castro and Evans attended a cluster training at 2:00 p.m..
Tuesday, the group went to Hamilton Place mall because they had no meetings or competitions. That night, the competitors attended an activity in a ballroom where music, games, and pizza were provided.
Wednesday, the competitors attended the award ceremony at 8:30 a.m. and the ceremony ended about two hours later. The group had several wins which included Swanson and Gray who placed third in hospitality management and Evans who placed seventh in introduction to business communication. The students returned home later that afternoon.
