West High welcomes foreign exchange twin brothers from India

Ronak and Rishis Mawle are from Pune, Maharashtra India. They have been here for two months and so far are enjoying the U.S. They chose to live here because the U.S has many better educational opportunities than any other country. Ronak stated, “ My favorite class in West High School is Mr Robert’s Algebra -.” Ronak explained that in India they do not emphasize on their personal space, because they are comfortable with everyone living together.

Ronak explains “ We don't eat any type of carcass which comes from cow’s and buffalo, we treat them as gods.” In India they live together in extended families. Ronak noted “ The goal I want to complete when I am in U.S is that I want to be a software engineer.” Ronak thinks U.S is a pretty developed country and India is a developing country. Something he has noticed is that people here respect each other a lot. In India, the schools are very strict about following the code of conduct. Ronak remarked “ My favorite U.S food is french fries, and my favorite food in India is vada pav." Some of his hobbies are playing the flute and cricket. His favorite musician is Kishore Kumar from India.
