West High welcomes Mrs. Doris Webb to the Special Education Department! Webb is excited to see what this year holds for her students as well as other teachers. West has many admirable attributes such as great staff, good food, and many others. Webb said that the most admirable trait of West would be that someone is always willing to help one another no matter the task or work to be done. Webb has also been a special education teacher for nine years. Prior to teaching, she was a classroom assistant for approximately eleven years. She studied Elementary Education at the University of Phoenix online before advancing to studying Special Education at University of Tennessee Knoxville.
Webb also has one dog named Mango and one cat named LeRoy. She stated, “We’ve had our dog for over two years and couldn’t imagine life without him!” She also lives with her husband, Robby, and her grandson, Kaleb, who is eight years old. She spends her spare time fishing and riding bikes.
West High is looking forward to watch Webb grow and thrive as a teacher in the Special Education Department!
