West Side Story newspaper is a fun class that helps students gain experience in journalism, business communications, social media, and graphic arts. Students can become certified in Adobe Photoshop and graduate with distinction if they keep a 3.0 or higher GPA. Newspaper class of 2023-2024 passed the Adobe Certified Professional Photoshop industry exam with 100 percent pass rate. This class is encouraged for students interested in journalism, broadcasting, radio, television, business communications, and jobs that work with Photoshop.
