West High has gained many new staff members this year, and one of them is the new special education teacher, Ryan Haun.
Haun is from Morristown and even graduated from West High himself, which is also why he has returned here to work. "It's my alma mater!!!" he expresses. Haun graduated from West in 1999 then proceeded to college. He went to Carson-Newman, where he played baseball, Tennessee Tech University, and LMU. Haun graduated from Carson-Newman with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2004, and he graduated from Tennessee Tech University with a Master's degree in Special Education in 2007, and finally he graduated from LMU with an Education Specialist degree in 2020.
Haun has three children. Reagan, Easton, and Griffin. Reagon is the oldest at the age of 12, Easton is the middle child at eight years old, and Griffin is the youngest at four years old. His wife's name is Chelsea, and they have a dog named Ace that 12 years old.
